"I cried watching it"
1 litre of tears is awesome,
it is a sad and true story,
it really touches people heart.
Now i know why it called "1 litre of tears"
The story will make you cry alot.
here is the synopsis:
This drama is about a girl who was diagnosed with a disease called “Spinocerebellar Degeneration” when she was 15 years old, and was able to continue her life until her death at the age of 25 years old.
The plot is based on the true story of a Japanese girl named Kito Aya, who had the same disease. She kept writing in her diary to remember her experiences until she could no longer hold a pen. Aya simply wished to live until the end of her life, and the purpose of writing in the diary was to remind herself to not give up. She shed tears many times, at the same time encompassed by the rich love and support from her family, friends, and boyfriend. Her diary “1 Litre of Tears” was published after her death, because of its inspiring and courageous message of
“Just being alive is such a lovely and wonderful thing.”
Gokusen series 1, 2, 3 was awesome too(:
This drama is basically about school life.
Although they have series 1,2,3.
there are different students acting but all the storyline is almost the same.
honestly, japanese students are hot.
Gokusen 1
Here's the synopsis for Gokusen 1
Synopsis:
The story of a young, idealistic teacher who enters Shirokin Gakuen with hopes of making a difference in the students' lives. However, Yamaguchi Kumiko is in for a rude awakening when she finds that she will be the homeroom teacher of 3-D, the hardest class to maintain in the school. The students have multi-colored hair, sloppy uniforms, and show absolutely no respect to her. The leader of the class, Sawada Shin is lazy but bright and shows some interest in Yamaguchi when he notices that she is very different from other teachers. The students try to bully her to make her quit, but their attempts don't get them very far.
What the class and the rest of the school does not know is that Yamaguchi Kumiko is actually the 4th generation heir to the Ooedo Group, a notorious yakuza clan. Even though her family would like her to take the title of Ojou when her grandfather dies, they have accepted the fact that Yamaguchi would rather be a teacher.
Eventually, the students learn to respect their quirky teacher because of her devotion to them, and even give her a nickname: Yankumi.
Gokusen 2.
Synopsis:
Half a year has passed and Shirokin Gakuen has closed down. Yamaguchi Kumiko finds herself a teacher of a few young kids who don't really benefit much from her style of teaching. Through some twist of fate, she is offered a job as a teacher in Kurogin Gakuen.
She becomes the teacher of a delinquent 3D class which make her previous students look like angels. In order to protect her job, she must again hide her true identity — the fact that she is the 4th generation of the Oedo Family, a prominent yakuza group.
Gokusen 3
Synopsis:
A woman from Yakuza family background aspires to be a teacher but is in for a rude awakening when she gets the worst kind of students in her class. This is basically a 3rd season of the series so unless you've seen the 1st and 2nd season, it's probably a bit difficult to catch up with the series. Personally, I'm not going to watch this but I know some people are looking forward to this so if you're interested, mark 19th of April in your calendar.Vice principal Sawatari changed to Akado Gakuin and is in need of a teacher for the unmanagable class 3-D. Of course, her former teacher Kumiko Yamaguchi comes to his mind. Due to her trust in the students and her martial arts skills due to being the granddaughter of a big yakuza-boss she solves the problems of the class... The class of 3-D consists of two rivaling groups, one lead by Yamato Okada and the other lead by Ren Kazama, who are actually disliking each other very much..
Honestly, i prefer Gokusen 2 and 3 :D
